| In 2003 I was hired by Goosefoot Community Fund developers to join the talented design team from
Flatrock Productions as the consulting architect. Providing supervisory services over the construction documents for
the renovation of the 1924 Cash Store building at Bayview Corners.Bayview Corners is an exciting mercantile and community gathering place on Whidbey Island. Every aspect of
the project has incorporated the best in sustainable design, art and community opportunities, and historically
appropriate detailing. The renovation gutted most of the existing structure and added a second storey. It is unique in the many
ways Bayview Corners has not been over developed, detailed, or finished. With the use of recycled materials,
careful detailing, and fine craftsmanship the design and construction retains the understated functional charm of
the historic building and site.
