| The Stewart Building's design solves a complexity of needs as a mixed use building in a significant urban location.
The curved wall celebrates the site's prominent corner location, both as a main lobby entrance to the retail
spaces, and as the entry to Queen Anne's retail district. The design also responds to the needs of the urban
apartment housing, with ten, two bedroom, two bath units organized around a two story exterior courtyard which provides
a community space sheltered from the busy thoroughfares bordering the building.
