Capitol HIll, Seattle, WA.
The Miller Park fountain was funded and built by the neighboring community in collaboration with Seattle's Parks and Recreation. A well used but old wading pool was removed when the new Miller Commnity Center was built so a new water feature was designed by Randy Allsworth, Landscape Architect. The design feature's six concrete columns topped with metal figures that rotate like whirly-gigs in the wind. One of six artists selected to design a metal figure, Debrah Walker was given "inspiration" for the theme her figure was to represent.
